I have a 2005 Dodge Neon, I did not know what sized engine it has so I checked around online. Apparently, it has a 4 cylinder engine...I'm not sure what impact that plays on gas but that's what it has. I think a 4 cylinder is actually the smaller size. The gas tank holds 12.5 galloons and today it cost me $38.85 to fill it up. It was not entirely empty either, I still had a little under a quarter of a tank left. I'm hoping that this will last me all week, the car should get 29mpg (city) or 36 mpg (highway). I do a lot of driving that I cannot avoid so, it's really up in the air.
I'm curious as to how much other people are paying to fill up their tanks, so leave it in the comments section.

I have a 1997 Ford Escort and I just filled up from empty last night. Are you ready for this???? 46.00. I'm in Cincinnati,OH and gas is 4.04 per gallon for the not so good stuff. I sympathize with anyone who has to pay more. BTW I love both of your blogs!
Thanks!
38? pfftt I wish, haven't seen those days since 2 something gas. I own a 2001 Chrysler Concorde V6 with like a 15 gallon gas tank.. soo umm now clocking with our 4.03 per gallon gas to fill and not even completely fill but to just touch the full line 50 bucks. To cap it off it know its probably 53 or 54...I would soooo catch a bus if I didn't have a gazillion things to do everyday in 50 million different places.. I do entirely tooo much driving.
i got rid of my suv in march so now i ride the bus/walk/bike everywhere! i'm losing fat (haha!) and enjoying the fresh air...and fatter pocket$
